Let's look around Port Vincent - Part 2

As always, a walk into town revealed some interesting stuff.

This attractive entry statement where the road leading into town intersects with the beach promenade, is made of caged limestone rubble which looks like a locally available material. There is a boardwalk behind, constructed of planking and piers made from recycled plastic. Very smart.

The waterfront path has donated park benches at regular intervals.

No time was wasted in sampling the sausage rolls.
A disappointment.
The Bloke reports this one not even worthy of a close-up.

Waterfront home too pretty not to photograph

Uninterrupted ocean views for all eternity.
4 Rows of plots which might once have been on the edge of town.

An example of how they make public boat ramps in SA. Note the floating jetty. Brilliant!

The war memorial is in a most obscure place behind some houses and down a dead end.
Pun noted.

At least the Dept. of veteran Affairs knows where to find the memorial and have provided a nice reward of somewhere to sit when you find it too.
