Keeping the date 12th March, front of mind we engaged in some frenzied goodbyes and 'for the final time' activities.
Brendan and Phllipa on
Comfortably Numb, spotted us in Alexanders Bay and popped over with some good cheer and with a gift of a pot of Brendan's honey.
We saw Ric and Helve at Alexanders too.
Wobbla Read returning to RYCT just ahead of us.
Then there had to be at least
one more sausage roll experience up at Battery Point's Jackman & McRoss.
The Bloke with his favourite sausage roll and favourite waiter.
Wobbla Read returning to RYCT just ahead of us.
The Plane Trees in Salamanca Place are tinging with gold, a sign that summer is over.
Hobart will party on - yet another 'Event' on the waterfront.
We enjoyed a last 'evening' at the club where The Bloke has been accepted as an Interstate Senior Member. We celebrated this event and our parting at the same dinner. Helve and Ric made yet another outstanding gesture in presenting us with this sensational farewell gift. We have been so tremendously spoiled with gifts and the warmth of friendships made.
THANK YOU!
