When kittens grow up

We'd spotted the bow of a catamaran emerge from behind the point. We recognised it immediately. It was a Fontaine Pajot. A look at the distinctive rigging and the colour of the sail bag on the boom had our minds ticking boxes. Surely this was Urchin. But aren't they stuck in Sceale Bay? But wait, there is more bow still coming. More port holes. Much confusion. Not Urchin. Boxes mentally un-ticked.

The approaching front saw a number of craft come scurrying into Coffin Bay for shelter. "Ahoy there Zofia!" came a cheerful voice from one of them; the by now fully exposed Fontaine Pajot Salina 48 - wild Honey B. "Where is Urchin?" Who was this messing with our minds looking 'sort-of ' like Urchin and then acting like they knew us?? Weird we thought.
Wild Honey B - does B stand for BIG

Wild Honey anchored at the edge of the channel have just received an invitation from you know who
Mystery resolved.  Ross and Cherise Baldock are friends of B1 and Maree and had followed our blog across The Bight. They expected for our whole fleet to be here and wanted to catch up with Urchin before heading out into The Great Australian Bight en route to Mandurah. The sight of the word 'Femantle' on their stern made our hearts jump a beat.

You don't need to be told about drinkies or the tour of Wild Honey which is enough to give anyone Foot Disease. Put a bunch of yatchies together that have mutual friends and are all West Australians  away from home and you can still hear the yacking underwater.

B1 and Maree we all missed you!
