Easy Tiger 'Boat people'

There is no doubting that Easy Tiger did it tough across The Bight with a string of malfunctions that added up to a big headache, loss of sleep, plenty of anxiety and a 'lift' into Blanche Port, Streaky Bay.

The local press got hold of the story and have 'spun' their story in support of why their local SES equipment needs more funding.

We met rescuer Ian Morgan, who is a local septuagenarian farmer. He participates in these rescues using his own boat and fuel. When given a substantial gift voucher by a very grateful and gracious Easy Tiger crew he said it would be donated to the SES as he participated by way of his gift to the local community. A really lovely and genuine fellow. Thanks for heading out into the night with your not too young team, to save our friends. The 3 rescuers combined age is probably close to 200!
