Beach shack on the beach at Doubtful Island Bay. from the size of the "out of context" pine we think it might have been there awhile |

Is it a bird, a plane or superman. Neither. It was a drone, but a long way from Afghanistan |
We were blessed with a super sail from Doubtful Island Bay through to Hopetoun. A fine reward for escaping Bremer Bay and enduring a horrid day before. This was champagne sailing 10-15knots in only 1.5 -2.0m of swell. It was absolutely perfect for the cats. Urchin put up 'Screetcher' and Easy Tiger were out of sight in no time.

A happy day was experienced by all. We were in Mary Anne Harbour by lunchtime and immediately became an object of fascination for the locals. They see the occasional yacht but never 3 sailboats at one time. We are thinking of hiring a publicist.
Keith Dunlop from the local VMR was keen to offer any advice and assistance. If you visit, call him on 0428 383 302.
